Job Description


Safety Risk Management


1) Scoot’s risk management methodology, risk management tools by providing guidance to stakeholders to ensure requirements are understood, applied and used consistently.

2) Working with stakeholders to administer risk management processes in relation to assessment, evaluation, mitigation, prioritization, monitoring and regular update of risks in Scoot’s operations.

3) Analyse risk root cause and outcomes to identify trends, propose process and procedural changes to prevent recurrence.

4) Participate in regular risk reviews to identify, capture and sanction risks, able analyse and recommend appropriate mitigation actions and ensure progress to recovery plans.

5) Centrally control lessons learned data to record results and share outcomes with stakeholders to better inform future identification and assessment of risk.

6) Reporting the progress of Risks at regular intervals to the appropriate level of management and within the customer organization.

7) Carry out quarterly review of department hazard registers to monitor relevancy and accuracy and make recommendations where required.

8) Annual review of HIRM processes for continuous improvement and where applicable, communicate updates to stakeholders accordingly.

10) Administrate reports submitted via the ISMS.

11) Maintain and review SMS Manual and DPM.

13) Develop and implement Safety Promotion & Communications


Airline Alcohol Management Programme 


1) Conduct testing on tech crew at station and outstation

2) Work with HR to select flights using the randomiser

3) Liaise with AOM's for them to conduct testing at station

4)Develop,plan and execute training for  AOM's and any new staff on Scoot's AAMP procedures

5) Maintain tracking system for testing conducted at station and overseas

6) Prepare and send report out to CAAS on a quarterly basis


External Audit Representation


1) Conduct Safety quality control activities i.e: audits, assessments and inspections on stations

2) Ensure that safety is represented when auditors from any regulatory organisation is conducting an audit.

3) Ensure documentation and audit prep is done for Safety portions


Job Requirements:



5+ years' experience in operational safety risk management/ safety management systems in aviation fields

Ability and willingness to travel
